Chris called about 9:30 this morning to tell me he shot a turkey. This tom weighed 24 pounds 10 ounces with a 10 3/4" beard along with one inch spurs. A nice size gobbler. Chris said Bryon called this gobbler up, he tried to get him to flip a coin to see who would get to shoot it & Bryon declined. So, he went home hungry!! Ha! Of course being the scrapbooking wife that I am, I made a bee line to where he was with the camera!! Congrats, Chris!!

Why did you shoot a little baby, Chris. Poor little fella. I don't shoot em unless they have at least a 10 7/8 inch beard.
